The Guest Artist Recital will be presented by Kelli O'Hara best known for her many appearances on Broadway.
May 8, 2010 NATS Ontario General Meeting and Workshops at the Faculty of Music (Edward Johnson Building, University of Toronto. The Meeting will be followed by two workshops: a presentatin by Conservatory Canada on their new Conteporary Idioms Syllabus and a master class by Marie Baron, Head of Voice at Sheridan College on Contemporary Vocal Pedagogy.
March 21, 2010 NATS ARTIST AWARDS (NATSAA)
Ontario District Preliminary Round - Spring 2010
NOTE: NATSAA is a completely separate competition from either the Ontario Chapter Student Auditions on November 27, 2009 or the Great Lakes Regional Student Auditions on March 6, 2010. NATSAA is for singers who are ready for a professional career as the First Prize is a sponsored recital in New York City. Both of the Student Auditions include singers at all stages of singing development.
SINGERS MUST ENTER VIA THE Online Entry Form which is now available on the NATS web site.
DEADLINE: ALL NATSAA APPLICATION MATERIALS, DOCUMENTS AND FEES MUST BE MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF NATS IN FLORIDA NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 13, 2009.
The Ontario District Preliminary Round will take place in Toronto at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Mazzoleni Hall) 273 Bloor St. W. (1/2 block from the St. George Subway Station) on Sunday March 21, 2010 Audience is invited to attend the competition.
March 6, 2010 Great Lakes Region Student Auditions

It's the Ontario Chapter's turn to host the Great Lakes Region Student Auditions. Ontario singers will compete with their peers from Ohio, Indiana and Michigan on Sat. Mar 6 at the John Aird Centre and Maureen Forrester Recital Hall of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON
INFORMATION AND ENTRY FORMS WILL COME to NATS members DIRECTLY FROM THE REGIONAL GOVERNOR in the spring.
NATS members who do not have students competing are invited to participate as judges. Parents and friends are welcome to attend.

The Fall General Meeting of NATS Ontario Chapter will take place before the Auditions at 10 AM. Information has been sent to NATS members and all forms and information can be downloaded by clicking on the link at the top of this page. All NATS Members are welcome to attend and adjudicate, even if they have no singers competing. Please contact the Auditions Chair directly if you wish to participate.
September 27, 2009 MAKING THE CUT: a workshop for students who plan to audition for post-secondary music programs
Every two years, NATS Ontario presents this very popular workshop for students and their parents and teachers. Representatives from most of Ontario's university, college and conservatory music programs will speak about the opportunities they offer and the preparation they expect of the singers who audition for them. The event will take place on September 27, 2009 at 2 PM at Unionville High School (201 Town Centre Boulevard, Markham ON The street runs north from Hwy 7, just west of Warden Ave.) The session will be followed by a meet-and-greet time for students to talk to the presenters. Don't go to your audition without this valuable preparation. You could even meet the person who will hear your audition. Information will be sent to NATS members in September. There will be a nominal entry fee for students, parents and teachers or coaches who are not NATS members.
